Using Attribute and Metric Selectors in Dossier

Learn how to create Attribute and Metric Selectors for your Dossiers in MicroStrategy 2020. Add selectors to your Dossiers to empower users with the ability to choose what data they want to view. For example, attribute and metric selectors could help you consolidate the diverse business needs of user groups, such as Executives, Business Analysts, Financial Analysts, and Regional Managers, all into a single dossier visualization.

This is awesome! MicroStrategy should implement the same with multi select option in RSD as well.

It would be good if MSTR could also expand this feature to include groups of metrics or attributes. We have numerous use cases where we want toggle the display of an entire group of (4 or 5) metrics on or off. Having to show a list of 25 or so metrics in a selector and forcing the user to individually select the ones they want to view is very cumbersome. Likewise with attributes.

It'd be good to have such selectors expanded to cover groups of objects.
e.g. Group 1: Attribute A1, Metric M1, Metric M2
Group 2: Attribute A2, Attribute A3, Metric M2, Metric M3, Metric M4
and so on..

In other words, rather like a 'template' selector for the visualization.
